Lawyers (including solicitors, barristers, senior lawyers) = 24 Northern, Central and Southern teams are responsible for geographic areas of work. Public servants know their key residents, businesses and elected members. That`s why, in April 2021, H&F Council launched the Law Enforcement Team (LET), one of the largest teams of its kind in the UK. Mind is Hammersmith & Fulham`s leading mental health advice, support and empowerment resource. It provides advocacy, counselling, friendship, support groups and individual counselling in the areas of debt, benefits, housing and legal rights. Not many people know they`re paying for it, so it`s a good idea to check your contract. The LET is divided into Northern, Central and Southern teams, in addition to a district-wide control team and a night shift. There are dedicated LET officers for each community in the district. The H&F Law Centre has entered into mutual legal assistance treaties in the areas of housing, immigration and asylum, and provides free legal advice and representation to those eligible for the programme.
